Verbena Sconce

Most sconces designers reach for right now look the same: thin brass arm, tiny candelabra shade, done. The Verbena isn't that. It's got a big 8" glass globe balanced over a slim stem, finished with an oversized brass ball at the bottom — mid-century in its bones, but flirtier than that shape usually plays. The proportions are the whole point. That globe reads bold, the ball drop keeps it from feeling stiff, and the two together make it feel like a piece somebody actually designed rather than pulled off the same three vendor pages as everyone else.

It's a genuine chameleon. Clear glass with a colored holder for something airy and architectural, opal globe with a punchy painted cap for a softer glow, all-black for a graphic moment, brass-on-blush for full charm. With a 30-color palette and mix-and-match holders and caps, no two have to look alike — which means it works over a moody checkerboard entry just as easily as a pale-pink powder bath.

Dress up a bathroom, flank a mirror, light a dining wall or a reading nook. Wherever it lands, it earns a second look.

Finish Options

Each sconce is made to order in our New Orleans studio with your choice of:

1. Glass type:  Clear or White glass
2. Powder-coated glass holder & interior cup color: 30 curated colors with custom colors available for an additional fee)
3. Fixture finish: brass or black (chrome is available by request)

The raw brass will develop a warm patina over time, or you can polish it occasionally to maintain its bright brassy glow. Powder-coated parts are durable, vibrant, and perfect for adding a pop of color, while chrome adds sleek modern shine.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the Verbena can be installed with the shades facing up or down. It’s UL Listed for dry locations (damp-rated sockets available by request) and built with quality components to last for years.
